2026 Volkswagen Crafter Bott Racking Conversion for Grimme Service Vehicle

We’ve recently completed a new Bott racking installation for Grimme, a local agricultural engineering company specialising in potato and beet harvesting equipment.

The brief was simple: create a practical and efficient storage solution for a service vehicle, giving the technician easy access to their tools while making the most of the available space.

The installation features Bott racking, side-sliding drawers and a collapsible vice, providing a compact but highly functional mobile workshop.

One of the key features is the side-sliding drawer system. The drawers can be accessed directly through the side loading door, meaning the technician can quickly grab the tool they need without having to climb into the back of the vehicle — a small detail that makes a big difference when working on site.

The collapsible vice provides a convenient workholding solution when needed, while folding away neatly when it isn’t in use.
